Background

Born in Canada and raised in the Chicagoland area I

attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where I received dean's list honors and a bachelor's degree in economics.

Upon graduation I became an officer at BMO within the Private Client Group. While there I worked with high-wealth individuals regarding complex financial instruments to expand the current relationships in addition to acquiring new clients to grow my book and drive profits.

From there I left Financial Services for the world of Recruiting and since that day there has been no looking back.

Starting in Contract/Consulting in the Accounting/Finance space I grew my knowledge of the industry and profits generated.  I quickly went into leadership where I grew/trained the team in multiple offices nationwide.

Then I set my sights on Executive Search and joined Lucas Group/Korn Ferry and learned from some of the best in the industry. This allowed me to become a trusted advisor for clients and decision-makers at companies of all sizes from privately held firms needing individuals to run the financials to Fortune 500 companies looking to add key individuals to fill voids and drive departments.

.

I am confident the last 15 years of professional experience I have obtained has put me in a great position to help YOU with your next search whether it's for the best candidates on the market or the next step in your career.

Process

  • Understanding client needs: The firm works closely with the client organization to gain a deep understanding of their specific requirements, including the job description, desired qualifications, cultural fit, and any other essential criteria.
  • Identifying candidates: The firm utilizes its extensive network, databases, industry contacts, and research capabilities to identify potential candidates who match the client's requirements. They may also employ direct sourcing methods, such as reaching out to passive candidates who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Candidate assessment: The search firm conducts rigorous evaluations of potential candidates through interviews, reference checks, and comprehensive assessments. They assess the candidates' qualifications, experience, leadership skills, and cultural fit with the client organization.
  • Presenting shortlisted candidates: The firm presents a shortlist of the most suitable candidates to the client, along with detailed profiles highlighting their qualifications, achievements, and potential contributions. They may also provide additional information on the candidates' personality traits, leadership styles, and references.
  • Facilitating interviews and negotiations: The executive search firm assists in coordinating and scheduling interviews between the client and the shortlisted candidates. They also provide guidance and support throughout the interview process, helping the client evaluate the candidates and make informed decisions. Additionally, the firm may assist in salary negotiations and offer acceptance.
  • Follow-up and onboarding: Once the client has selected a candidate, the executive search firm facilitates the transition and ensures a smooth onboarding process. They may provide support in drafting employment contracts, assisting with relocation, and maintaining contact with both the client and the candidate to ensure a successful integration.
